Excursions & activities

The world beyond the villa gates — temples, lake, beaches and experiences that enrich every stay.

Beyond the villa

Everything is optional —
nothing is compulsory

Excursions are planned individually according to your energy and interests. Some guests only leave the villa for the beach; others visit five destinations in a week. Both are perfectly fine.

Koggala Lake

Feeding the monkeys

A boat trip on Koggala Lake feeding wild macaques directly from the boat — one of the most popular experiences for villa guests.

15–20 min. walk

Habaraduwa Beach

A quiet and little-visited beach just minutes from the villa. Ideal for morning walks, swimming or watching the sunset.

25 min. by car

Galle Fort UNESCO

A colonial fort full of history, cafés, galleries and boutiques. Perfect for an afternoon trip — narrow streets, walls above the sea, sunset.

Koggala surroundings

Tea & cinnamon plantations

A visit to traditional plantations — peeling cinnamon, tasting tea on the spot. A quiet glimpse into the heart of Ceylonese nature.

Surroundings

Sacred temples

A quiet walk to local Buddhist temples and Buddha statues — a moment of peace and spiritual immersion.

25 min.

Sea Turtle Hatchery

An ethical sea turtle conservation centre in Habaraduwa. A chance to see hatchlings up close.

Every day

Morning beach walk

A peaceful walk by the ocean before the world wakes up — part of the healing rhythm, not just an outing.

Day trip

Nine Arch Bridge — Ella

The iconic colonial stone bridge amid jungle and tea plantations in Ella — one of the most photographed scenes in Sri Lanka.

Ella / surroundings

Waterfalls

A trip to one of the impressive waterfalls in the mountainous interior — fresh air, green gorges and beautiful nature.

All activities are optional and we plan them individually according to your energy during your stay.
